Project Feature - Engagement Photos at Inniswood Metro Gardens

Early this year, I had a couple reach out to me about doing photos for their wedding. They were very interested in working with my husband and I since we have a unique photo style and have a background in fine arts. We’ve been taking on fewer and fewer wedding projects recently, because we’re very busy with life and other projects and typically weddings don’t offer much of an opportunity to be super artsy and creative. This couple was the opposite, they said they were interested in letting us make some real unique art with their wedding photos and sent us some very cool inspiration, they also wanted some film photography as well, so we jumped on the fun opportunity.

After waiting all winter for the weather to change so we could do engagement photos, in early March we started to plan a date for photos. Then we got hit with Covid-19 and Ohio went into lockdown. After another month and a half of patiently waiting, restrictions were finally lifted and we were able to get out and take some photos. We took these photos at Inniswood Metro Gardens in Westerville and the location did not disappoint! I loved working with these two and I loved that they wanted something unique and gave me freedom to edit the photos a little differently than I usually would for engagement photos. Here are a few of my favorites, and I cannot wait to take photos for their wedding.
